About
I read computer science at Cambridge and spent twenty years building and running technology in fintech and digital assets. I now run an independent measurement practice from Zürich.
Why Signal Lock. Your business transmits all the time: the website, the listings, the reviews, the photographs, the prices. Most owners assume that because they are broadcasting, they are being received. The AI assistants are the receivers, and almost nobody has checked whether they are picking anything up. I have seen both failures. A business with a perfectly good website that the assistants could not read at all, because the words only appeared once the page had run its code. And a business that shut down in 2024, still being recommended two years later, the receivers holding on to a transmission that stopped.
The instrument is my own: a probe harness that puts more than a thousand realistic customer questions to four AI assistants, records every answer, and reports what came back. No resold data, no dashboard subscriptions, no decimal-point theatre. If a number appears in one of my reports, I can show you the recorded answer it came from.
Two rules govern the work. First, I report what the assistants said, not what I think of your business; you know your capacities, your packages and your margins better than any probe ever will. Second, measurement stays independent of remediation. The two are priced and reported separately, so nobody is marking their own homework.
When you email, you get me. There is no account manager, no junior, no handover. The person on the call is the person who ran the probe.
